Social Justice Outreach

Respect Life

Addressing pro-life issues in all stages of life: the March for Life in Washington D.C., St. Mark’s Give a Gift for Life, the Archdioscen 40 Days of prayer and any projects providing support to uphold the dignity of human life.

Bereavement Support Group

Each person experiences grief in his or her own way. Meeting every other Tuesday throughout the year, this group offers a place to talk about your grief, fears and other feelings which can be there after the death of a loved one.

Food Pantry

St. Mark’s food pantry serves many families here in Harford County and the surrounding areas through the generosity of our parishioners. These families are referred by other area churches or organizations such as Birthright, SARK and Harford County Family Services.

Holiday Baskets

This ministry helps less fortunate members of our community and surrounding areas have a more joyful celebration during Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Our Daily Bread

On the second Wednesday of each month volunteers from our parish prepare and or serve casseroles at Our Daily Bread in Baltimore. Please click HERE for the parish recipe.

Gabriel Network

Meeting the practical, emotional and spiritual needs of women in crisis pregnancies as well as needy mothers and infants throughout our area.

Ministry to the Homebound

This ministry gives spiritual support to the homebound through communion and prayer.

Caregivers

A support group for persons who are taking care of a loved one, due to illness or infirmity. Also volunteers who offer their time to relieve the caregivers for a few hours when needed. This support group meets on the third Monday of each month in the White Hall. Please check the bulletin for updates and informaiton.
