Pastoral Council

Purpose:

The Pastoral Council of Saint Mark's Church - Fallston is a consultative and oversight body which seeks to collaborate with and assist the Pastor and Staff in striving to help our Parish be a worshipping, learning, witnessing and serving community, according to the Parish mission statement.

Pastoral Council meetings are held once a month from October through June. Exceptions can include December and/ or January meetings.

Elections of new members is held the third Sunday in May. The election of officers is held during the June meeting. Executive Committee meetings are held the week prior to the Council meetings at a time that is agreed upon by all members of the Executive Committee.

A Council and Staff Retreat Day is held in September to provide spiritual and planning time before the new year begins.
